IDC's are not just simply offering offering rack-space as their business, they are offering a full range of services. As SWsoft's software has become an important part of many companies' Hosting and Enterprise infrastructure, we believe that the same services and functionality will be availableas packaged services provided by IDC's and will be the future Internet Infrastructure. Our IDC Partners can provide this high level of value.
Current Situation
-----------------
Connectivity Services + IDC Space (Colo, rack) = Infra Parts
Future
-----------------
Connectivity Service + IDC Space + Hardware + Software + Other Services
= Complete Infra (Including Large ISPs)
IDC + SWsoft Software = VALUE ADDED INFRASTRUCTURE
Why Infrastructure?
-------------------
Although SWsoft is the Automation & Virtualisation Software Leader,
and the software is really no different to Hardware and other physical
parts, anyone can use these components. Meaning, Software is
really just another layer sitting just above the Hardware layer, so
providing any value above those layers is the responsibility of the
Software user. Of course, on our side, even though we are continuously
working hard to add excellent new features, our purpose in the end is
to make the Infra stronger and more automated - BUT - also provide you
with the tools to be able to add more value.
Why Value Added?
-----------------
IDCs provide the location and connectivity, but if they were to add
value on top of this, they could package and provide many of the other
important parts. As IDC's can provide these added-value parts at cheaper
prices, this represents great value to the IDCs' Customers. Please
consider.

1. Tsukaeru.Net Case Study
--------------------------
Case Study - Tsukaeru.Net Success Story
Tsukaeru.net http://www.tsukaeru.net
From 2002 to February 2004 - Before Starting with SWsoft's Software
The CEO was living in Australia, renting servers from the US, offering
free and paid shared hosting services to customers in Japan. The ordering
and management systems were all developed in-house by him, and he had
to localise the US software himself.
Initially, Tsukaeru was very interested in Virtuozzo.
He rented a dedicated server from a well-known US company and set up
Virtuozzo. We remotely installed the first demo version of Virtuozzo
for him to test. At this time he was using 3 different hosting control
panel software, and the network speed being offered in Japan was now
becoming faster than that between his US servers and Japan customers.
(Japan's broadband market was taking off now)
From March 2004 Until Present - After Setting up and migrating to
SWsoft Software
In July, after discussing his future, we asked him why doesn't he come
to Japan and set up his own IDC? Soon thereafter, he moved from Australia
with his family of 4 to Nagano. In a rented building, he began setting
up his own IDC. The following are the steps that were taken;
1. Sealed off the walls of one room on the first floor
(To Manage Temperature and for Security)
2. Set up racks, cables, an EPS and air-conditioning
3. Purchased a number of Dell Servers
4. Set up a 1GB Fiber Line
5. Ordered 2000 Global IPs
6. Created a Virtuozzo Master Copy and installed into
10 Servers
7. Installed FC1 OS Template and Plesk
Application Template into the node
8. Using the Plesk Migration Tool, migrated domains from
the US servers into his own in Japan
Along with the above work, he was still developing his system in-house
and the following automation was possible;
* Registration of VPS Services directly from the Tsukaeru
Home Page (Domain and Hosting Plans)
* VPS Applications Installed
* Online Credit Card Gateway eCommerce
* Customers' Online Email Support
From March 2005 to Present - Setting up shop with HSPc
With an interest in HSPc he wanted to further enhance the automation
of his virtualised infrastructure. With the release and install of
HSPc3.2, he migrated his customers' data, hosting plans and Virtual
Environments (VPS) into HSPc.
With that, Tsukaeru's Data Centre became 100% automated. The following
is what became possible;
* HSPc top page customised with the Tsukaeru Design
* Multiple eCommerce Online Payment Services were offered (HSPc Plugins)
* Multiple Currencies could be used for services in Japan and other
countries (Australia)
* Multiple TLDs could be offered for domain registration services
* Ability to Offer Multiple Automated Reseller Accounts
* Provider (Admin), Resellers and Customers (End-Users) control Panels;
o Data Centre Admin
o Hardware Admin
o IP Pool Admin
o OS Template Admin
o Application Template Admin
o Windows & Linux - Virtuozzo, Plesk, SiteBuilder License Admin
o eCommerce Admin (Billing: Order Processing, Payments, Payment
Plugins)
* The following Hosting Plans could be offered directly from the HSPc
online site;
o Trial Packages (By Minutes, Hours, Days, Weeks, Months, etc.)
o Free & Paid Shared Hosting
o Dedicated Servers + Plesk
o Dedicated VPS (DS) + Plesk
o Shared VPS (DDS) + Plesk
o Domain Registration (Using HSPc Domain Plugins)
o Other Services
* Integrated Help Desk & Support Ticketing System
With HSPc, Tsukaeru can automatically manage an entire virtual infrastructure
(and hosting services) and can now set more time aside to work on
adding extra value ON TOP of this system, such as by preparing and
offering Plesk Application Vault ASP applications, SiteBuilder Skins,
Modules, Support Services, etc.).
